Expression of Interest: becoming a sub-editor of the IJDSJ Reviews Section

Would you like to apply to become a sub-editor of the IJDSJ Reviews Section? The successful applicant will work with Dr Simon T.M. Ng to develop this aspect of the journal.

The role will be for 2 years, after which the sub-editor will be invited to join the Editorial Board and the position will be re-advertised.

There will be three sub-editors of the Reviews section. Up to two positions will be ring-fenced for applicants from the University of Leeds (UK), where the Editor-in-Chief (Professor Angharad Beckett) is based.

The remaining position is open to any doctoral student, from any University, globally.

Checklist:

  • Please only apply if you are a doctoral student (it does not matter what stage of your doctoral studies, you will not be required to step down if you pass your viva during your time as a sub-editor);
  • Please only apply if you can give 1-2 hrs/week (this is maximum, it will often be less) to this role.

This is a voluntary position. There is no salary, or payment of any kind attached to this position.
